I prefer bright colors, lemon yellow, turquoise, bright blue deep hue, opera, bright green, orange & black are good choices. An iPad or smart phone. Ability to use Pinterest is helpful. Or bring a 2nd color photo that you’d like to paint in afternoon session. It is best if it is a simple subject, ONE focus, like a bird, a flower, or two apples in a bowl. Think loose. A SMILE, relax we are going to have a fun time. We will be painting outside the lines!! Ginny's Painting Biography Ginny has been painting for over 35 years. Her early career began with oils. However, she was always fascinated by the way watercolor moves & creates subtle effects. W/C won her over 30 years ago and continues to be her favorite medium. She taught classes at Keeton‘s, Manatee Art Center, Sarasota Art Center and private classes. She taught traditional w/c, inks, and w/c on Yupo. Early in her career she studied with and became a certified w/c instructor for Terry Madden. She has studied with Don Andrews in Europe, Alberto Castanet, Tom Lynch, Pat Weaver, Ann Abbott, Janet Rogers, Taylor Akin, and many others. They all have contributed & influenced her painting style and knowledge. Her teaching career began 25+ years ago in IBM, Exxon and Citicorp NY. Her style is relaxed, caring and fun. I have the ability to make complex subjects easy. “My goal is to have every student learn new techniques, be comfortable, have fun and produce lovely art work.” *Note: In payment process, to bypass Paypal, click on “Try another way”.
