ONLINE ZOOM CLASS: "BOATS" Watercolor w/ Anne Abgott This is a photo of boats I took many years ago in Maine . I will be showing you how I enhance a mediocre photo taken with a phone or tablet to make it more exciting. Don’t panic, you all have what is needed on your phones. The painting part is simple and as follows: Please make a black and white copy of this image for your values. Come with the image drawn on the paper ahead of the class. I will be working 11x14 size ( maybe less) on 300 lb paper. You may use the paper of your choice and any size. You will also need round and flat brushes, a scrubber brush, a tooth brush, bar soap, masking fluid, small alphabet stencils, a sharp stick, a razor blade or a brush with a pointed, angled end. * Please mask only the rope between the boats prior to the class. Have all your paints handy but the essential pigments are as follows: Sap Green Manganese Greenish yellow or green gold Helio Cerulian by Horadam Schminke Cobalt blue Verditer Blue Ultramarine Blue Permanent Rose Indigo Gamboge Naples yellow by Holbein Transparent Orange Quin gold Quin red by Sennelier A great class for beginners and advanced. I would challenge you to think about changing the colors if you wish.

Cancellation Policy

Class cancelations for a full refund may be requested up to 5 days prior to the scheduled start time of your selected class. You may reschedule to a different class until 24 hours prior to the class you are canceling.
