In response to your requests, Anne has added a 2 day ZOOM Virtual Workshop featuring her renowned BISMARCK PALM paintings. Each day's session will run from 10am to 2pm Eastern Time, with a 15 minute lunch break at noon. You will have plenty of time to ask questions and receive personal feedback from Anne throughout the workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to join Anne in creating this highly detailed, visually compelling subject. In the course of this virtual workshop, Anne will lead you, step-by-step, through the creation of an intricate, beautiful painting of the BISMARCK PALM. If you are a beginner and feel that this workshop is beyond your skills, you should consider Anne's teaching approach. Her goal is to offer something to every student, regardless of your level of experience. Even as a beginner with only basic supplies and a bit of experience in preparing a tracing, you will learn valuable watercolor techniques. Most importantly, less experienced students will learn how to avoid falling into bad habits, or feeling inclined to give up in frustration -- these are some of the issues that Anne's teaching style effectively tackles. As Bob Ross was fond of saying, 'There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents." Anne works interactively with each student and with the group to demonstrate how your happy little accidents can be used to enrich and enhance your work, leading to a unique and stunning work of art. After completing the ZOOM Virtual Workshop you will have a full video recording available to you for 60 days. Anne has developed her mastery through a lifetime of study and learning which she generously shares with her students. You will acquire new techniques and a new perspective that will not only advance your skills to a higher level, but will also bolster your confidence as you advance in mastering the watercolor medium. PREPARING FOR THE WORKSHOP The Carriage House Team at The Villa will send you a pre-workshop email with the image you'll need along with pre-workshop preparation instructions and a complete list of required supplies within 2 weeks of the workshop date. NOTE RE: TUITION: This price of this workshop is $150 for students who enroll prior to May 15th. After May 15th the price of the workshop will increase to $160.

Cancellation Policy

Class cancellations for a full refund may be requested up to 5 days prior to the scheduled day of your selected class. You may reschedule to a different class until 24 hours prior to the class you are canceling.
