WATERCOLOR FOR SKETCHERS WITH LESLIE FEHLING Do you love to draw but feel challenged when it comes time to add paint to your sketches? Do you want to build your skills with watercolor and learn to paint with confidence? In this two-day workshop at the historic Villa Serena Inn, nationally-known watercolor artist, Leslie Fehling, will share the techniques she uses to create colorful watercolor sketches in her sketchbooks and travel journals, and will show you how to paint many of the subjects that sketchers encounter most often. Leslie’s organized approach breaks the process down into manageable steps which build on each other, one step at a time, and result in finished sketches you will be proud to share. Subject matter will include flowers and foliage, trees, food, buildings, skies, water, tea cups, and more. The price of this two-day workshop includes your own personal copy of Leslie's full-color spiral-bound instruction book. Leslie's book includes every detail of the step-by-step lessons from the workshop, providing a precious resource that you can refer to during the class and forever after as you sketch and color at home and in your travels. (Level: Beginner to Intermediate. Some sketching experience and basic watercolor skills will be helpful for this course. ) * Please note that this is a TWO DAY WORKSHOP that runs from 9am to 4pm with a one hour lunch break. Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies and lunch. A supply list will be sent to you well before the scheduled workshop dates.
