Service Description

This class is about painting movement ! The different sizes and shapes of the tulips add to the wow factor. Along with the exciting shape of the shadows coming off the picture! Half of the flowers are in shade and half are light struck! Giving the image a perfect focus of interest . Please have the drawing done carefully on your paper ahead of the class. On paper of your choice and size. I will be working on 300 lb paper in less than 16x20 size for ease of teaching. Please make a black and white copy of your reference photo for value reference. Please have a camera handy along with all of your paints. No masking please. Round and flat brushes Rounds 4,6,10,14 Flats 3/4 to 1 inch angle Eradicator or any tool that you use for lifting and adjusting values. Essential pigments are as follows If no manufacturer is indicated any will do Scarlet Lake Holbein Quin Red Sennelier Quin magenta Permanent Rose Opera Quin Gold Gamboge Aureolin or any cool yellow Yellow Ochre Horadam Schminke Sap Green Russian Green or deep Sap Green by Daniel Smith Verditer Blue Holbein Mineral Violet Holbein Brown Madder Burnt Sienna Naples Yellow by Holbein Indigo PLEASE, NO CADMIUM RED It has been a very long time since I painted this photograph and I am very excited to see how I can improve on my original attempt.
