This LIVE Workshop will be held at The Carriage House Studio at Sarasota's historic Villa Serena Inn. A little humor, a little glass, and a lot of color! Kick off the summer season with this delightful online ZOOM watercolor workshop with Anne Abgott. Please come to class with the image drawn on the paper and size of your choice. I will be painting on 300lb paper a little smaller than a 1/4 sheet. *Please don’t draw the pattern in the blue background. There will be some masking and the guide for that will be sent prior to the class. Please print a black and white copy of the reference photo for your values. Be sure to have your round and flat brushes and a scrubber handy. We will be sending you a color guide to help with identifying the paints. The essential pigments for this class are as follows Verditer Blue Holbein Quin Sienna Helio Cerulean Cobalt Blue Scarlet Lake Ultramarine Blue Quin Gold Sap Green New Gamboge Red Brown by Mission Payne’s Gray or any Black Watercolor Paint Aureolin Yellow Indigo Brown Madder Mineral Violet Opera Transparent Orange In the information that you'll receive prior to the workshop, you will also receive my "Master Supply List" which itemizes pretty much all of the tools and pigments in my watercolor toolkit. You don't need everything on the Master Supply List for this workshop — I created the master list as a reference for those who love working in watercolor and are compelled to achieve a greater level of virtuosity and joy from this most rewarding medium. This is a 5-hour workshop with a lunch break. Don't forget to bring a salad, sandwich, or nosh of your choice for the lunch break. The Carriage House Studio provides bottled water, multiple coffee & cocoa selections, and a selection of snack bars to keep your energy up. I look forward to seeing you person at this live workshop.
